Ingredients
- 1 lb tannia
- 2 sprigs celery
- 1 medium onion
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. lime juice
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. milk
Method
Wash, peel and grate tannia, put into a bowl.
Chop or mince onion and celery finely, add to tannia
Add salt, lime juice, flour. mix with a fork. Heat fat in frying pan.
Beat egg stiffy. Fold into tannia mixture with the milk
Fry by spoonful in hot oil, turning over to brown on both sides.
Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with the meal
